The X1 Pro Gen.4 is the latest iteration of the most powerful CYC Motor electric drive. It has been available since January 2024. This is a mid-drive motor designed for advanced riders, both in terms of riding skills and technical knowledge and experience. A bike built with this drive requires high-quality components (frame, brakes, wheels, sprockets, etc.) and an appropriate battery.
The CYC Motor X1 Pro Gen. 4 was created for enthusiasts of powerful electric bikes. Choose it if you know exactly what to expect from this type of drive. Make sure you have the knowledge to fully take advantage of the X1 Pro motor's capabilities in your bike. Otherwise, we recommend the X1 Stealth Gen. 3 or Photon drive.

Differences between X1 Pro Gen. 4 and Gen. 3
Although the controller has high capabilities, the power will be software-limited to a peak of 5.5 kW to ensure system durability. The peak phase current for the X12 is 180 A.
The X1 Pro Gen. 4 kit is available exclusively with the X12 controller.
